Tim Burton will have a balloon design in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade?
Awesome.
From the article: “According to an origin story dreamed up by Mr. Burton, B. was created, Frankenstein’s monster-style, from the leftover balloons used in children’s parties at the Great Ormond Street Hospital in London. Forbidden from playing with other children because of his jagged teeth and crazy-quilt stitching, B. retreated to a basement lair, where he obsesses over Albert Lamorisse’s film “The Red Balloon” and dreams that he, too, will be able to fly someday.”
Rad.
Idol.
Wayne: Hey, what are we doing?!
Garth: Yeah! We got backstage passes to see Alice Cooper!
could this ever get old? …. the answer is no. possibly even hell no.
I promised myself i wasnt going to do this, but here Molly goes anyway. I wanted to address all the crazy and mind boggling things that go on in the world now. The fact that technology and the way people around us recieve information is mind-blowing. And the all the buttloads of information everyone is exposed to. Thats why everything that was small scale and not so “in” society is “in” now. Teen pregenecy, increase in depression, self-destruction, rape, etc. Everything has increased ten fold. This in all ties with me, because in turn i became a statistic. I reached dark destructive days of my own. And since getting through it ive realized that no matter the pain, the ugly, and the heartache…i want peoplw to know…it gets better. Theres still SO much to life. And i, as one individual in a whole of society, have come to realize, and in hopes thst you do too..
Well, thats my rant. Im too tired to even go back and proofread, or even check if it makes sense…enjoy!

We made this apple pie a couple weeks ago when Olivia was here and we were having our little Halloween/Thanksgiving party. It’s one of my favorite recipes and so so simple.
Ingredients
1 recipe pastry for a 9 inch double crust pie
1/2 cup unsalted butter
3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1/4 cup water
1/2 cup white sugar
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
8 Granny Smith apples - peeled, cored and slicedDirections
1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C). Melt the butter in a saucepan. Stir in flour to form a paste. Add water, white sugar and brown sugar, and bring to a boil. Reduce temperature and let simmer.
2. Place the bottom crust in your pan. Fill with apples, mounded slightly. Cover with a lattice work crust. Gently pour the sugar and butter liquid over the crust. Pour slowly so that it does not run off.
3. Bake 15 minutes in the preheated oven. Reduce the temperature to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Continue baking for 35 to 45 minutes, until apples are soft.I never thought I’d like an apple pie recipe that didn’t call for cinnamon but this one is so wonderful. Enjoy!
is sooo making this!
